    Djinn Hunter #4 is published by Black Box Comics, written by Jay Sandlin and illustrated by Fabrizio Cosentino.

    Issue #4 is available now either directly from Black Box Comics or from your local comic book store, digital copies are available to download from the usual content providers.

    Synopsis

    Zara faces Abyss, learning quickly the Elder Djinn is far too powerful. Having no other alternative, Zara turns to the one person in the realms she hoped never to face again: the Sorceress Samira, her lost love. But after ghosting her centuries ago, will Samira be thrilled to see her ex again?

    Review

    So far as a series I have found Djinn Hunter to be one full of action and emotion with a gripping story, issue #4 carries on with that theme injecting more emotion into the story.

    Zara finally comes face to face with the one she has been hunting, Abyss she quickly learns that this is no normally hunt for Abyss is just too powerful the normally effective attacks just won’t work with him. Zara needs some help and time for an awkward reunion, there is no time for sentiment however as the fate of the universe depends on this the apologies will have to wait.

    You may well know if you have read some of my previous reviews Jay Sandlin is one of my favourite writers and Djinn Hunter shows exactly why, a series that has evolved as it has gone through the issues and grown into a story full of action and emotion with also moments of edge of the seat tension, the comic basically has everything I would want for a story arc and I cant wait to read the conclusion in issue #5.

    Fabrizio Cosentino carries on with his creative partnership with Jay as they continue to provide elite level creative workmanship. The illustrations of this book are inspirational, each page takes you on a mystical journey with spellbinding colours and bold artwork, as a team Jay and Fabrizio are genuinely one of the best out there and I hope to see more from this universe after the arc finishes.

    Verdict

    Djinn Hunter is a series which continues to grown in strength in every issue lead to an explosive conclusion. The mystical illustrations and captivating writing will take the reader’s imagination on a journey like never before, a definite recommendation for any fantasy fans.
