We haven’t had a proper look at Netflix’s live-action take on Cowboy Bebop. But we’d argue that this is just as good. Maybe even better. Netflix dropped the official opening title sequence for the upcoming show and it is absolutely glorious. Fans of the anime will have the original opening memorised and we have a feeling that this brief look will check a lot of boxes.
Cowboy Bebop stars John Cho as Spike Spiegel, Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black and Daniella Pineda as the wonderful Fayr Valentine. Joining them will be a cast of new and supporting characters. The opening sequel actually gives you a very brief glimpse of the various additional characters- and Ein. Is that enough to get you pumped? No? Well, Netflix also confirmed earlier this year that Yoko Kanno, the original composer, has returned to score their live-action adaptation. Things are looking pretty good at the moment, right?
With all of this wonderful news, it’s safe to say that a trailer may be on the horizon. With that, we’ll be able to get a better look at what this exciting project has to offer. Now, don’t let us keep you…
