Yesterday’s Star Trek Day celebrations certainly didn’t disappoint when it came to surprises. Chief amongst them was the reveal of a brand new trailer for Star Trek: Picard season 2.
Our latest look at the new season confirms suspicions that Q (John DeLancie) will be sending Picard (Patrick Stewart) and his crew in to an alternate timeline. In this new world it would seem that events have caused a facist regime to dominate Earth. This shift in reality will send Picard back in time to present day Los Angeles to try and fix the timeline.

Star Trek: Picard Season 2 sees Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, Terry Matalas, Michael Chabon, Doug Aarniokoski, Dylan Massin, Patrick Stewart, Heather Kadin, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth serve as executive producers; Aaron Baiers and Kirsten Beyer serve as co-executive producers.Akiva Goldsman and Terry Matalas serve as co-showrunners for Season 2.
The series is set to return in February 2022.
