After months of anticipation, Netflix has finally confirmed when fans will be able to watch the upcoming anime movie set in the world of The Witcher. Following confirmation that the second season of the show will debut in December, the streamer confirmed that The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf will debut on August 23, 2021.
The film takes place years before the flagship series and stars Geralt’s mentor, Vesemir. The film will explore Vesemir’s origins at a time when a “powerful new threat” is targeting the Continent.
