Yesterday we brought you a brand new trailer for the return of The CW’s Stargirl. Today we’ve got some brand new poster art teasing the debut of one of the second season’s villains, Eclipso (Nick Tarabay).
The season one finale saw Courtney’s burgeoning arch nemesis Cindy Burman (Meg Delacy) discovering a mysterious diamond. Upcoming her discovery it begins to glow and comic books fans were immediately sent in to a frenzy. Many will know this as the black diamond in which Eclipso is imprisoned.
In the brand new poster (below) we can see the diamond hovering ominously above Stargirl’s legendary staff.
Stargirl stars Brec Bassinger in the title role. Luke Wilson is playing S.T.R.I.P.E., alongside Joel McHale (Starman), Lou Ferrigno Jr. (Hourman), Henry Thomas (Dr. Mid-Nite), and Brian Stapf (Wildcat). Neil Hopkins (Sportsmaster), Joy Osmanski (Tigress), and Nelson Lee (Dragon King) will portray members of the Injustice Society.
New episodes return to The CW in North America on August 10, 2021.
