Our first full look at the second season of DC’s Stargirl has arrived. Overnight a brand new trailer has been released online and it features a tonne of brand new footage from the returning series.
It looks like Courtney (Brec Bassinger) will be struggling to balance her school life and her superhero life in season 2. But with new villains Eclipso (Nick Tarabay) and The Shade (Jonathan Cake) and magical, wish granting imp Thunderbolt (Jim Gaffigan) show up things are bound to get complicated.
The trailer also introduces us to a brand new character, Jade, played by Ysa Penarejo. Jade is the daughter of original Green Lantern, Alan Scott and it looks like she’s come to Blue Valley to reclaim her father’s ring.

Stargirl stars Brec Bassinger in the title role. Luke Wilson is playing S.T.R.I.P.E., alongside Joel McHale (Starman), Lou Ferrigno Jr. (Hourman), Henry Thomas (Dr. Mid-Nite), and Brian Stapf (Wildcat). Neil Hopkins (Sportsmaster), Joy Osmanski (Tigress), and Nelson Lee (Dragon King) will portray members of the Injustice Society.
The series returns to screens in North America on August 10, 2021.
