It’s been a pretty busy and epic week for Zack Snyder’s Justice League, hasn’t it? First we had confirmation of a new trailer. Then we got some brand new images of Jared Leto’s Joker, and now we’ve got a particularly brutal clip of Steppenwolf.
Zack Snyder shared the clip via his Vero account which actually did two things. It confirmed that a Black & White version of his Justice League is being worked on. It also confirmed that Snyder wasn’t lying about Steppenwolf “hacking people in half” because that is literally what we see.
The epic clip shows the new Steppenwolf going up against the Amazons on Themyscira. This most likely takes place just as Steppenwolf steals the first Mother Box and already it’s clear that the scene differs drastically from the theatrical cut. What is also particularly interesting is that it appears as though Steppenwolf’s weapon has some lightning abilities.
You can check out the full clip via Zack’s Vero.
We also got a tweet from the official Justice League Twitter account which gave us a pretty terrifying and haunting quote from Steppenwolf… “I will bathe in your fear.”
Consider us incredibly intimidated and pretty scared. We can’t wait to see what else Steppenwolf is capable of.
What do you make of the clip? Let us know your thoughts in the comments. Don’t forget, we will be getting a brand new trailer this Sunday, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League will premiere on HBO Max on Thursday 18th March.
Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman and Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman. Joining them are Jason Mamoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg, and Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash.
