Announced today is news that one of film’s hottest writers of the moment Mattson Tomlin (Project Power and co-writer of The Batman), is making a move behind the camera for his directorial debut a sci-fi tale Mother/Android and has called upon Chloe Grace Moretz to star.
Moretz will play the main part of Georgia who embarks on a treacherous journey escaping her country alongside her boyfriend Sam, they are looking to escape the on going war with artificial intelligence. With Georgia expecting their first child they look to find safety before the birth, but first they must face No Man’s Land the stronghold of the Android enemy.
The film is also said the inspiration for the film comes from Tomlin’s personal experience as his parents fled the Romanian Revolution so their child (Tomlin) could be safe.
Miramax will provide the backing for the film with Matt Reeves producing.
