HBO is gearing up for the release of Lovecraft Country next month. The series, from the minds of Jordan Peele and J.J. Abrams, premieres on August 16 and we’ve got some new artwork for you to feast your eyes on.
HBO’s official synopsis for the horror-drama reads:
“Lovecraft Country follows Atticus Black as he joins up with his friend Letitia and his Uncle George to embark on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father. This begins a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America and the terrifying monsters that could be ripped from a Lovecraft paperback.”
The poster (below) features Jonathan Majors’ Atticus Black and Jurnee Smollett-Bell’s Letitia Dandridge surrounded by mysterious tentacles which, if you’ve read the source material, is not a good sign for our heroes!
