I absolutely love the Hot Toy figures. They are incredible. Expensive but incredible. With each new release, the company’s abilities seem to improve significantly. The head sculpts, the articulation, and the overall look just improve with each new figure. Whether it’s the Mandalorian, our beloved heroes from Endgame or our favourite DC heroes. They never cease to amaze me.
Today, Hot Toys gave eager fans a close up look at the brand new Wonder Woman 1/6th scale figure. Now, this isn’t your typical Wonder Woman donning her classic armor. No, this is something else and it is stunning.
Hot Toys shared the brand new figure via their social media. It showcases the Golden Armor costume that we saw in the trailers. The shiny and slick armor comes with two eagle-like wings

Just look at it. This figure is something else. Now, this costume might just be a cosmetic for the movie. However, in the comic book world it actually signifies something quite different.
When it appeared in Kingdom Come in 1996, the Golden Eagle armor actually alludes to a deviation from Diana’s main principles. Diana is typically seen as a rational peacemaker who will defend the innocent. But this armor represents the idea that the time for diplomacy has passed and it is time for war.
It’s unclear how the suit comes into play in Wonder Woman 1984 but regardless of its reasons, I think fans are pretty excited to see it in action. We’ve seen Wonder Woman in action before, but we’ve never seen her like this.
