Recently we heard that Lionsgate had green lit a sequel to 2019’s incredibly successful Knives Out.
Now, in a new interview with Variety, director Rian Johnson has briefly commented on plans for the sequel. As expected Johnson is looking to bring Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc back and surround him with a new mystery and a new cast.
“It’s going to be Daniel (Craig) playing Benoit Blanc, the detective. Other than that, all bets are off. It’s a totally new cast,” Johnson said at the Oscars. He continued, “I want everybody! Just point. Throw a rock on this red carpet and you’ll hit someone that I want in the movie,” Johnson said.
