A last-minute cancellation of a Star Wars panel at Salt Lake’s FanX has fueled a myriad of rumors.

Disney, according to multiple sources, cancelled a panel between Ian McDiarmid who plays Emperor Palpatine, and Hayden Christensen who, of course, played Anakin Skywalker in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.

With the confirmation that McDiarmid will be reprising his role as the evil Emperor in The Rise of Skywalker, the cancellation has fueled rumors concerning Hayden’s appearance in the final installment of the Skywalker Saga.

According to attendees, Disney chose to cancel the panel due to fears of spoilers leaking.

So what do you think this means?

Will we see the return of Anakin Skywalker or are Disney just being extra cautious? Find out when Star Wars: Episode IX- The Rise of Skywalker lands in cinema in December 2019.
