Stranger Things fans were left reeling after a huge twist in the final episode of the series third season. We won’t spoil it here just in case you haven’t seen it yet but the twist certainly has fans hoping for a fourth season.
In a new twist several of the series stars have been teasing a cryptic message on social media. Eagle-eyed fans managed to decode a telephone number for the character Murray Bauman and immediately began calling it.
For those who get through there’s a voicemail message from Bauman who seems to be urgently trying to get hold of Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder).
The messages says:
“Hi, you have reached the residence of Murray Bauman. Mom, if this is you, please hang up and call me between the hours of 5 and 6 pm as previously discussed, okay? If this is Joyce, Joyce, thank you for calling, I have been trying to reach ya. I have an update. It’s about, well, it’s probably best if we speak in person. It’s not good or bad, but it’s something …”
What could this mean for the potential fourth season of the show?
