Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse was a huge hit in its own right when it was released back at the end of 2018.
Given the multiverse nature of the movie fans wondered if a crossover between the Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland era versions of the character may happen.
Sadly that did not come to pass, but now Tom Holland has confirmed he was originally due to cameo in the movie! Could they be saving him for the sequel?
“At one point I was supposed to be in it,” the actor said in an interview with JOE. “There was going to be another Peter Parker… There was like a scene in a train station or something, and it was going to be like an Easter egg. I was going to walk through the background and say like ‘Hey, kid’ or something. Never happened. Heartbroken.”
