Great news for Sabrina fans this morning as the Netflix revival has been renewed for a further two batches of episodes.
Clarifying the status of the series it has been confirmed that April’s upcoming batch of nine episodes serves as the second half of season 1 and will be dubbed “Part 2”.
The announcement that parts 3 and 4 will go in to production in 2019 are essentially a season 2 renewal. Netflix has ordered a further 16 episodes which will likely air in two batches of 8 episodes.

I’m so grateful to my partners at Warner Brothers, Netflix, Berlanti Television and Archie Productions for supporting this darker vision of the world’s most famous teen witch,” series creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said. “And I’m thrilled to be continuing to tell Sabrina’s chilling adventures with our incredible cast and crew, led by the unstoppable Kiernan Shipka.”
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina stars Kiernan Shipka as the titular witch. The series also stars Michelle Gomez as Mary Wardwell/Madam Satan, Jaz Sinclair as Rosalind Walker, Chance Perdomo as Ambrose Spellman, Lucy Davis as Hilda Spellman, Miranda Otto as Zelda Spellman, Ross Lynch as Harvey Kinkle and Richard Coyle as Father Blackwood.
“Part 2” will debut on Netflix on April 5, 2019.
