SHERLOCK creators have found their DRACULA for BBC/Netflix series

It has been revealed that Sherlock creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss have found their Dracula.
Last month we brought you the news that Netflix and the BBC had entered a deal to co-produce a new Dracula series in the same vein as Sherlock. Now it has been announced that The Square star Claes Bang will be taking the lead role.
“I’m so excited that I get to dig into this iconic and super interesting character,” said Bang in a statement. “Yes he’s evil, but there’s also so much more to him. He’s charismatic, intelligent, witty and sexy.”
“I realise that there’s a lot to live up to with all the amazing people that have played him over the years, but I feel so privileged to be taking on this incredible character.”
The series is set to go in to production in 2019 and will premiere on BBC in the UK and Netflix internationally. The three-part, 90min drama is set to premiere late in 2019.
