Ciaran Hinds confirms ‘Justice League’ role

Finally, after months of speculation, the worst kept secret in ‘Justice League’ is out. Actor Ciaran Hinds (‘Game of Thrones’) has confirmed his appearance as Steppenwolf. In an interview with The Independent the actor touch on how he thinks he got the role, ‘They were great fans of Excalibur, Zack and his team. Maybe that’s how I got the role [in Justice League]! Who knows?,’ Hinds speculated. ‘There’s a bit when they’re walking in Gotham City and suddenly on a marquee of a cinema you see Excalibur playing.’
Hinds also confirmed that he provided motion capture for Steppenwolf, ‘Basically they’re going to construct something, digitally, and then they will use my eyes and mouth,’ he said.

‘Justice League’ stars Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman and Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman. Joining them are Jason Mamoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg, and Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash.
The film is directed by Zack Snyder from a screenplay by Chris Terrio. ‘Justice League’ hits cinemas on November 17th 2017 from Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment.
