‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ might not be sitting atop the worldwide box office anymore but that doesn’t mean that the film has stopped earning money.
In it’s fourth weekend in cinemas the film has now grossed $310M at the US domestic box office earning a further $9M.
Internationally the film added $15.1M from the 67 markets where it still remains active taking the international cume to $516M.
All that means the worldwide gross for the film is currently sitting at $827.3M!
According to website Box Office Mojo the film now sits in the number two slot for the highest grossing films of 2016 lingering behind ‘Zootopia’ which has currently grossed $882.2M and still remains in cinemas worldwide.
In terms of all-time grosses the film is currently the 50th highest grossing film worldwide and 49th at the US domestic box office. Not bad for a film with a 28% score from critics and 69% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
