Those of us who remember the 80s might recall the awful fashions, the rise of cheesy pop music and TV classics like Saved By The Bell. But this October Shudder is presenting a nightmarish vision of the beloved decade with the latest instalment of the V/H/S franchise. V/H/S/85 will stream on the premium horror platform from October 6, 2023.
Directors in this latest video nasty include David Bruckner (Hellraiser), Scott Derrickson (The Black Phone), Gigi Saul Guerrero (Bingo Hell), Natasha Kermani (Lucky) and Mike Nelson (Wrong Turn).
When an ominous mixtape blends never before seen snuff footage with nightmarish newscasts and disturbing home video to create a surreal, analog mashup of the forgotten 80s.
