Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has today unveiled the package art and special features for ‘Underworld: Blood Wars’. The film will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on April 25th, 2017.
There’s no word yet on technical specifications for each disc but the bonus features included are:
– Official Movie Graphic Novel.
– Four featurettes: ‘The Evolution of Selene’, ‘Building a Blood War’, ‘Old & New Blood’ and ‘The Evil Evolved’.
‘Underworld: Blood Wars’ was released on 13th January and is the fifth film in the long running franchise. Unfortunately it was not able to reach the same box office highs at predecessors. Grossing on $80M worldwide it holds the crown as the lowest grossing ‘Underworld’ film to date. Despite the disappointing returns the film was made on a low budget of $35M so still made a profit for Sony.
A sixth film has been mooted but yet to be officially announced. In the meantime here are the covers for the ‘Underworld: Blood Wars’ blu-ray and UHD discs.

UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS follows Vampire death dealer, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) as she fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycian clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David (Theo James) and his father Thomas (Charles Dance), she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice.
