The Canneseries – the Cannes Film Festival for TV – is charging ahead with its 2020 festival despite the on going global pandemic. Now we know at least one of the high profile shows which will be hosting its world premiere at part of the event.
Deadline is reporting that Nick Frost and Simon Pegg’s upcoming supernatural comedy Truth Seekers will debut at the festival which takes place October 9-14 in , Cannes, France. Original set to take place in March, the festival is being presided over by The Walking Dead EP Gale Anne Hurd.
A new trailer for the series will be debuting later today. Here’s a teaser shared with us by our colleagues at Amazon Prime:

Truth Seekers stars Nick Frost, Malcolm McDowell, Samson Kayo, Susan Wokoma, Emma D’Arcy and Simon Pegg. The series is set to launch later in 2020 via Amazon Prime Video.
