If you were a fan of Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft then we have some good news for you. The Hollywood Reporter is carrying a story that a sequel movie is now officially in the works.
The trade is reporting that Free Fire and High-Rise scribe Amy Jump has been tapped to pen the follow-up.
No news yet on whether Vikander will return to the role but we’re hoping so after a strong performance in the first movie. Fans will remember that movie ended on a slight cliffhanger with Croft ready to take down the evil Trinity group. A storyline which was recently resolved with the Shadow of the Tomb Raider video game.
