Though the film has been and gone from cinemas Universal Pictures is still repping Pacific Rim: Uprising.
The sequel to 2013s sleeper hit from Guillermo del Toro fell slightly short of expectations. Back in 2013 the original Pacific Rim grossed $411m at the worldwide box office. Uprising, which was directed by Steven S. DeKnight, took a disappointing $288m including an embarrassing $59m from North America.

Pacific Rim: Uprising is directed by Steven S. DeKnight based on a script by Guillermo del Toro, Zack Penn, John Spaihts, Derek Connolly, Emily Carmichael, Kira Snyder and T.S. Nowlin. The film stars John Boyega, Scott Eastwood, Cailee Spaeny, Jing Tian and Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day and Burn Gorman.
The film hit cinemas on March 23, 2018.
