Nobody will be surprised to learn it was another great weekend at the box office for Avengers: Infinity War.
With a current box office haul of $1.606 billion it is now the highest grossing superhero movie of all time. That title was previously held by the first of the Avengers movies with $1.519 billion. Overall Infinity War is the fifth highest grossing movie of all time.
This weekend, the Russo Brothers release brought in a further $61.8m at the North American box office and made $281m internationally. Thanks to a massive $200 million debut in China the overall total is now heavily inflated.
