We’re still a way off seeing Wonder Woman 2 hit cinemas. In fact we’re a way off seeing the film even go in to production. With a release date set for November 2019 Patty Jenkins and co. are presumably deep in the pre-production process on the film as we speak.
But that hasn’t stopped Jenkins from giving a few brief snippets to the press around her hopes for the sequel. With Gal Gadot recently accepting the Rising Star award at the Palm Springs Film Festival Jenkins was on hand to support her leading lady.
ET caught up with Jenkins on the red carpet and asked her for an update on the films progress.
“We’re actually making a totally different film with a lot of the same, similar like things that we love, but it’s its own movie completely, so it’s not ‘two’ to us. It’s an entirely new adventure together that we couldn’t be luckier [to do].”
Are you excited for another adventure? Wonder Woman 2 is due to hit cinemas in November 2019.
