Film is now officially underway on the third instalment of the A Quiet Place franchise as director John Krasinski takes to social media to share a new look from the set. The film is set to release in UK cinemas in July 2027.
Krasinski who also produces and writers for the now long-running franchise shared an image of the film’s slate in front of the of the Manhattan Bridge Arch and Colonnade in New York City’s Chinatown. He captioned the post with “Here. We. Go! #Part III”.
Back in March it was announced that Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy had secured deals to return for Part III after last appearing in 2020’s A Quiet Place Part II. The franchise was last seen on our screens in 2024 for prequel A Quiet Place: Day One starring Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Djimon Hounsou and Alex Wolf.
Krasinski masterminded, directed and starred in the original A Quiet Place as Evelyn’s (Blunt) husband Lee, who ultimately sacrifices himself for his family as they struggle to survive an alien invasion by a species who hunts only by sound. Despite his death, Lee appears in flashbacks in Part II, which Krasinski also directed.
Part III will also mark the return of Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe as Evelyn’s children Regan and Marcus. They will be joined by Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke and Katy O’Brian.
