We can’t quite wrap our heads around this one but 2026 marks a huge anniversary for the Hellraiser franchise. To celebrate this joyous occasion, BOOM! Studios has launched a new BOOM! Direct Reserve Campaign for Hellraiser: Leviathan’s Vault, collecting the much beloved, and long out-of-print Hellraiser comics published over a decade ago.
The publisher is urging fans to give into temptation and join them on a skin-crawling trip to hell with this new collection. On the 40th anniversary of The Hellbound Heart, Clive Barker’s original prose story that sparked the Hellraiser film franchise, Pinhead returns to wreak havoc on the human realm. Whether you fall into his grasp and become part of his cenobite army or successfully escape your brush with death is all dependent on your smarts and grit. Good luck—you’ll need it.
In addition to the entirety of the classic BOOM! Studios run, Hellraiser: Leviathan’s Vault features an additional volume with a curated selection of fan-favourite stories from Marvel’s seminal run of Hellraiser comics, all in deluxe hardcover editions for the first time.
“We had a hell of a run when we first published Hellraiser comics back in 2011,” said Bryce Carlson, Deputy Publisher, BOOM! Studios. “That content is long out of print and hard to come by but we’re reopening the Lament Configuration 15 years later and unleashing hell once again for all the incredibly patient fans out there.”
Hellraiser: Leviathan’s Vault Direct Reserve Campaign will run for 30 days, with special surprises, exciting product reveals and hidden stretch goals unveiled throughout the month, all exclusively on Kickstarter.
