Hulu – or Disney+ here in the UK – is riding high on the huge success of Dan Trachtenberg’s Prey. The Predator reboot won over fans and critics alike, hailing the film the most successful since the franchise began. Now the streamer is hoping to repeat that success after handing an October 7 release date to its upcoming Hellraiser reboot.
For this new version of the classic horror icon Jamie Clayton takes over the role of Pinhead, the master Cenobite from a hell dimension. We get our first look at Clayton in the film’s date announcement teaser which you can check out below:
A short synopsis for the film reads: In the all-new Hellraiser, a young woman struggling with addiction comes into possession of an ancient puzzle box, unaware that its purpose is to summon the Cenobites, a group of sadistic supernatural beings from another dimension.
Also starring in Hellraiser are Odessa A’zion, Adam Faison, Drew Starkey, Brandon Flynn, Aoife Hinds, Jason Liles, Yinka Olorunnife, Selina Lo, Zachary Hing, Kit Clarke, with Goran Visnjic and Hiam Abbass.
