Crack open a cold Alamo beer and met the guys in the alley as Hulu have officially dropped the first full trailer trailer for King of the Hill Season 15. Following the massive success of Season 14—which managed to outperform heavy hitters like Marvel’s X-Men ’97 to become the most popular animated series across Hulu and Disney+—the new look at the revival shows no signs of slowing down as we return to Texas 8 years after the original series had ended.

The upcoming season will follow on from the previous season with Hank and Peggy navigating their newly found retirement on Rainey Street after returning from their long-term propane gig in Saudi Arabia, keeping a watchful eye on their slightly unhinged neighbours. Meanwhile, a now 21-year-old Bobby Hill is still tackling his 20s as an up-and-coming entrepreneur and professional chef in Dallas alongside his old classmate and now girlfriend Connie, best friend Joseph, and also now co owner of his restaurant Chane.
With the focus now on Bobby and Connies relationship, fans can expect some real growth for the duo since we saw their relationship begin back in the original series when they were kids and now 20 somethings trying to go official with each other.
Elsewhere we also have Hank facing off with Comic Cons, golfing, unnecessary DIY and finally addressing the communication issues between himself and Peggy. While the rest of the gang as well as some returning faces pop up throughout.
Authenticity remains front and center for Season 15 though, with co-creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels guiding the ship alongside showrunner Saladin Patterson. While Mike Judge (Hank, Boomhauer), Kathy Najimy (Peggy), and Pamela Adlon (Bobby) all return, the upcoming blocks of episodes will mark a emotional transition for the neighbourhood. The late Johnny Hardwick’s final voice work as Dale Gribble was utilized heavily in Season 14, and the role will transition over to veteran voice actor Toby Huss moving forward into the already greenlit Seasons 16 and 17.
