Netflix has debuted a brand new full-length trailer for its upcoming Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 animated series. The streamer has also confirmed the series will premiere globally on April 23, 2025.
The year is 1985, it’s a freezing winter in Hawkins, and our heroes are about to embark on an epic journey where the original characters must fight new monsters and unravel a paranormal mystery terrorising their town. Tales from ’85 takes place between the second and third seasons of the live-action series.

Despite those incredible soundalikes in the the trailer none of the series live-action cast is returning to voice their roles in the show. Instead Tales From ’85 will star Brooklyn Davey Norstedt as Eleven, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max, Luca Diaz as Mike, Elisha “EJ” Williams as Lucas, Braxton Quinney as Dustin and Ben Plessala as Will. Additionally Brett Gipson will take on the role of Hopper. Odessa A’zion, Janeane Garofalo, and Lou Diamond Phillips are also joining the Hawkins adventure.
