Filming on Black Widow continued over the weekend in Norway. In this latest batch of set photos we get to see lead actress Scarlett Johansson performing some stunt surrounded by rather spectacular scenery. There’s nothing of a spoiler-y nature here. At this stage we still have very little understanding of the movie’s story. Until Marvel Studios formally recognise the movie and announce production we’re all completely in the dark. Today see’s the release of Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the UK on physical formats. The DVD and Blu-ray are available from all major retailers and looks set to be another great entry in the animated DC Comics line. We’re just days away from the release of Dark Phoenix now. The latest (and last?) movie in the franchise hits UK cinemas on Wednesday as it begins a global rollout which see’s it arrive in North America on Friday. As part of the rebrand of their TV/movie services AppleTV has release a new, intense clip via their twitter. The clip features a heated exchange between Msytique (Jennifer Lawrence) and Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) after the X-Men return from space. Another weekend has drawn to a close at the box office. This weekend Godzilla: King of the Monsters bowed in almost all markets and was able to gross $179m despite a flood of mixed reviews. The movie, which currently holds a score of 39% on Rotten Tomatoes, scored a B+ CinemaScore from opening day audiences. That score hints that word of mouth may hinder the movie in the long run. It’s no secret from watching footage from Dark Phoenix that the movie doesn’t stay too close to the source material. Certain elements, like for example the Shi’ar Empire, are missing.
