Deadline is reporting that former Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have signed a very lucrative deal to move over to streaming behemoth Netflix. The reportedly 9-figure deal will see them write, produce, and direct new series and films for the streaming service. Netflix confirmed to the trade it had won the deal but refused to share specific numbers regarding their new contract. Though fans are currently at the start of a very long hiatus for Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD we do have some potentially exciting news for season 7.
