We’re starting to see initial box office predictions for Dark Phoenix come rolling in. With just a few weeks to go until the movies release the picture is a mixed one for the last of 20th Century Fox’s X-releases. According to Box Office Pro the Simon Kinberg directed picture is tracking for a $40-50M opening weekend in North America. Those prediction string out to around a $113M domestic gross. By comparison the lowest opening of any current X-Men movie falls to The Wolverine which opened to $53M in 2013. That would make it the lowest domestic gross for the franchise.…
