Last week we finally got confirmation of a long running rumour that Stargirl would be airing on The CW. Of course the rumours were not as straightforward as the actual news. Over the weekend Matt Reeves dropped another piece of casting news for 2021’s The Batman. The acclaimed writer/director confirmed that 2x Golden Globe-nominee John Turturro (The Big Lebowski) has joined the cast in the role of Gotham mob boss Carmine Falcone. Reeves announced the news in his usual fashion, posting a GIF of the actor to twitter alongside a hashtag confirming his character. It’s been almost a year since we had a new episode of BBC’s Doctor Who, with the latest original episode airing on New Year’s Day 2019. But over the weekend the BBC has debuted the first trailer for the upcoming 12th series of the long-running show. Following today’s release of the synopses for parts one, two and three of Crisis On Infinite Earths we’ve now got our look at the first poster artwork for the crossover. The poster doesn’t drop too many spoilers but does bring back Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer), Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch) alongside our Arrowverse favourites. Following today’s penultimate episode of Titans, DC Universe has released a new trailer for the second season finale. Just last week we found out that Black Adam has finally found itself a December 2021 release date, now Dwayne Johnson has a whole lot more news for us.
