Following some high profile and well documented issues we’re sad to confirm that Fan Fest 2019 in London has been cancelled. Organisers of the event contacted fans overnight to confirm the news and announce the show has been rescheduled to February 2020. Signs of trouble began when Arrow star Stephen Amell stepped away from the show. Though no official reason was given behind-the-scenes gossip stated that he had fallen out with show organisers. DC Universe is currently gearing up for the premiere of Swamp Thing. The series makes its debut at the end of the month following the conclusion of Doom Patrol’s first season. In readiness for the release the streaming platform has released these two new posters featuring Abby Arcane (Crystal Reed) and Alec Holland (Andy Bean). We’re all recovering from a three day weekend here in the UK. But for the rest of the world its business as usual particularly at the box office. Completing its second weekend worldwide Avengers: Endgame has crossed several more milestones as it continues to dominate. The Marvel Studios release has now grossed over $2.1B. It crossed the $2B mark after only 11 days in release which, if we’re not mistaken, makes it the fastest movie to do do. By comparison James Cameron’s Avatar took 47 days to reach $2B. 20th Century Fox recently began the press tour for Dark Phoenix with the cast and crew now circling the globe promoting what could be the final X-Men movie from the studio. Overnight the studio has released this new TV spot for the movie which includes several new scenes.
