Warner Bros. has still yet to confirm that Robert Pattinson has been cast as Batman. But whilst the studio hasn’t commented director Matt Reeves has… kind of… confirmed the news. The Batman director took to Twitter yesterday to post a GIF of Pattinson along with three bat emojis. That counts as confirmation right? It seems like Reeves was publicly giving his backing to the casting of Robert “Battinson” Pattinson. Hopefully this means Warner Bros. will soon confirm the news. https://twitter.com/mattreevesLA/status/1135422242425196544 The Batman is due for release on June 25, 2021. The clip comes directly after Jean has been hit by the cloud, triggering the emergence of the Phoenix. Check it out…
Another weekend has drawn to a close at the box office. This weekend Godzilla: King of the Monsters bowed in almost all markets and was able to gross $179m despite a flood of mixed reviews. The movie, which currently holds a score of 39% on Rotten Tomatoes, scored a B+ CinemaScore from opening day audiences. That score hints that word of mouth may hinder the movie in the long run. According to BoxOfficeMojo the Warner Bros. release grossed approximately $49m in North America. That figure is below the studio forecast $50-55m going in to the weekend. The movie grossed $19.3m…
