Yesterday Batman Beyond kicked off a huge comic con weekend with a 20th anniversary panel in Hall H. Stars Will Friedle and Kevin Conroy appeared alongside the legendary Bruce Timm and Andrea Romano to discuss the series legacy. But that wasn’t all. Batman Beyond’s first season will be available for streaming on DC Universe beginning August 23, followed by the release of a full 20th anniversary box set on October 15. As we are writing this the cast and crew of Terminator: Dark Fate are live on the stage in Hall H at San Diego Comic Con. The panel opened with a video from James Cameron who confirmed that Edward Furlong will be returning to the franchise as John Connor. Furlong returns alongside fellow Terminator 2 star Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor. Warner Bros. has just dropped the second full trailer for IT: Chapter 2. Clocking in at nearly two-and-a-half minutes there’s a lot to see here. The trailer features a mix of flashbacks to the kids from the previous movie alongside their adult selves. 20th Century Fox has today released the second full trailer for Ad Astra. The Brad Pitt space adventure is set to hit cinemas in September and from the looks of this latest trailer it’s going to be epic. There’s plenty of new footage of Pitt’s journey in to space with sweeping, luscious shots of the blackness of space as well as some intense scenes as he prepares to journey in to space in search of his father (Tommy Lee Jones). Sad news coming from San Diego Comic Con today as hours ahead of the Agents of SHIELD panel it has been confirmed the series is coming to an end. The Wrap has learned that the previously announced, shortened seventh season will be the series last. Agents of SHIELD is currently airing its sixth season with it’s seventh due to air in summer 2020. There’s been no comment from the cast or from Marvel as yet but expect more to come when Agents of SHIELD hosts its panel at San Diego Comic Con later today.
