Sad news coming from San Diego Comic Con today as hours ahead of the Agents of SHIELD panel it has been confirmed the series is coming to an end.
The Wrap has learned that the previously announced, shortened seventh season will be the series last. Agents of SHIELD is currently airing its sixth season with it’s seventh due to air in summer 2020.
There’s been no comment from the cast or from Marvel as yet but expect more to come when Agents of SHIELD hosts its panel at San Diego Comic Con later today.
Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD is set to return in May 2019 on ABC in North America. Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Henry Simmons, Ian De Caestecker, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Elizabeth Henstridge, Nick Blood, Jeff Ward, Eve Harlow, Pruitt Taylor Vince and Coy Stewart star.
