With each new trailer Ready Player One has begun to look more and more like a truly compelling movie. Based on the excellent book of the same name it’s not hard to guess how difficult it was to translate this property to the big screen. Say what you will about Justice League but Warner Bros./DC Comics are certainly learning to poke fun at themselves. In the first trailer for Teen Titans Go! To The Movies we saw the heroes all dress as Wonder Woman whilst poking fun at their own grown up counterparts. Now the studio has released a new poster for the film which again directly references the Justice League. Following the success of the individual character posters released last week Disney/Lucasfilm has now released a full cast poster for Solo: A Star Wars Story. Collecting together the films main cast the poster below follows the theme of the previous releases. Echoing old Hollywood westerns, or perhaps following the success of a similar poster for Logan, this artwork certainly helps give a sense of the films aesthetic. Solo: A Star Wars Story is directed by Ron Howard. Fans of The Incredibles has been patiently waiting for over a decade for the film to finally get a sequel. When that film was announced last year it was met with rousing applause. Now fans have been clamouring for a first look at The Incredibles 2 which hits cinemas in June. For all the talk about course corrections and narrative edits to this day we don’t really know how Darkseid was to be included in Justice League. Now in an article posted by Screen Rant we’ve got a look at some storyboard art, drawn by Zack Snyder, which gives an insight in to what could have been. Put this one firmly in your rumour mill pile. THR are reporting that Captain Marvel scribes Lindsey Beer and Geneva Robertson-Dworet are taking a swipe at Sony Pictures Silver and Black. The Spider-Man universe film which is set to be directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood (The Secret Life of Bees) has been in development for some time now. Back in December we brought you first looks at the upcoming Batman Ninja animated movie. Those early looks at the film featuring only the native Japanese language audio tracks. Now Warner Bros. has formally announced the films released and re-released that trailer with the English language audio track. Rumours last month pointed to 20th Century Fox developing a solo X-Men project for Kitty Pryde. The character portrayed by Ellen Page in two previous movies seems destined to head for the big screen in the next few years. A new rumour overnight from Deadline points to ex-Marvel writer Brian Michael Bendis working with Fox on the project. Also previously rumoured and now seemingly confirmed is the news that Deadpool director Tim Miller is signed on for the film. The Hollywood Reporter has since confirmed the duo are actively developing the project but no news on a planned release schedule as yet.
