The CW has released another new promo for the upcoming Batwoman series set in the Arrow-verse. The latest trailer features Ruby Rose’s Cate Kane squaring off against Rachel Skarsten as Alice who boldly declares “we’re all mad here.” This is clearly a purposely filmed sequence so there’s no new footage from the show to see but we do get an idea about the relationship between the two characters. It’s a cool little promo which does tease some great interplay between the two actresses. Disney+ has confirmed that Ewan McGregor is returning to the Star Wars Universe. Overnight the new streaming giant revealed that an Obi-Wan Kenobi series will enter production in 2020. McGregor was on hand at the D23 convention to confirm the news in person to a crowd of adoring fans. Those in attendance claim that a timeline of events from the Star Wars Universe was shown and that Obi-Wan will take place sometime after Solo: A Star Wars Story. Marvel Studios has added three more series to its upcoming roster for the Disney+ streaming service. It was announced overnight that Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk and Moon Knight will all be coming to the platform between now and 2022. Yes the MCU Phase Four has been extended from 2021 to 2022 with more movies to be announced today during the MCU panel. More movies of course means more TV series though. Fans at the panel were treated to a first-look at footage from the series including this below look at Peggy Carter (shared by CMB). It has been confirmed the first trailer for Disney+ series The Mandalorian will premiere at the upcoming D23 conference taking place this weekend. We’ve known for some time that Joker was most likely aiming for an R-rating in North America. That news has now been confirmed by the Motion Picture Association of America. Joker’s rating has been granted based on “Strong Bloody Violence, Disturbing Behavior, Language and Brief Sexual Images.” That all sounds fairly in character for Joker right? Sony Pictures Uncharted movie, an adaption of the hugely popular video-game franchise, has hit another speed bump with the departure of director Dan Trachtenberg. Deadline exclusively revealed that Trachtenberg was no longer involved with the project having first signed on back in January. Trachtenberg is now the third director to exit the film following both Seth Gordon and Shawn Levy. The report also reveals that PlayStation Productions is formally joining the project in a major role. It’s been announced that Brandon Routh and Courtney Ford will be exiting the Arrow-verse during the fifth season of Legends of Tomorrow. The married couple play Ray Palmer and Nora Darhk on the series. Routh has been with the show from the very beginning, having originated his character on Arrow.
