After much buzz, Amazon has announced the names of the cast for its upcoming Lords of the Rings series which is currently in production.
According to Variety, the cast will consist of Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Nazanin Boniadi, Tom Budge, Morfydd Clark, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Ema Horvath, Markella Kavenagh, Joseph Mawle, Tyroe Muhafidin, Sophia Nomvete, Megan Richards, Dylan Smith, Charlie Vickers and Daniel Weyman.
We know that Aramayo will take on the lead role vacated by Will Poulter, Morfydd Clark will be taking on the role of a young Gladriel and it seems that Joseph Mawle will be playing the series villain currently known as Oren. Outside of this we have no details on who each of the above actors will be playing. But with the show entering active production we’re sure to hear more in the coming weeks.
No release date has been set for the Lord of the Rings series as yet.
