Over the weekend – whilst we were undergoing some server maintenance – Sony Pictures finally announced an official release date for Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse 2. The hotly anticipated sequel is due for release on April 8, 2022 and will once again be produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. No word yet on the story for the sequel but we bet it will have something to do with Miguel O’Hara/Spider-Man 2099, played by Oscar Isaac, who was introduced in a post credit scene to the first film.
