Following the news that Neil Patrick Harris has reportedly joined The Matrix 4, we now have even more casting news. Deadline is reporting that Jada Pinkett Smith (Gotham) is in talks to return to the franchise in the role of Niobe. Though the deal is not yet finalised it is expected that the former love interest of Lawrence Fishburne’s Morpheus will make an appearance in the film. Deadline is reporting that Sony Pictures Venom 2 has added a new villain to its script, straight from the Spider-verse. According to the trade it won’t just be Woody Harrelson’s Carnage that Eddie (Tom Hardy) faces on against this time around. Comic book villain Shriek will also be making an appearance.
