It’s no secret act HBO Max, which launches later this year, is cooking up a Green Lantern series to hopefully launch a successful live-action version of the franchise. During the TCA presentation HBO Max Head of Original Content Sarah Aubrey spoke about the studios plans for the series. “It’s going to span several decades and focus on two stories about Green Lanterns on Earth” said Aubrey. Aquaman is taking a break from our screens until 2022 but that doesn’t mean that he will be taking a holiday. It has been announced that director James Wan is going to be executive producing a new, three-part, animated series for Warner Bros. streaming service HBO Max. Great news for Disney and partners Lucasfilm as The Rise of Skywalker has finally crossed the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office. As the film hit half way through its fourth week in cinemas it, unofficially but very likely, cross the huge box office milestone. Having taken $3.4m in North America on Monday the ninth film in the Skywalker Saga was sitting at $996.5m worldwide.
