Over the weekend Venom 2 director Andy Serkis was awarded the Outstanding Contribution award at the star studded BAFTA ceremony in London. For the third straight weekend Sony Pictures Bad Boys For Life has topped the North American box office. The film faced little competition a new releases this week fell below expectations. Bad Boys For Life topped the box office with an estimated $17.7m this weekend. The film’s domestic gross now tops an impressive $148m, easily making it the highest grossing release in the Bad Boys franchise. A fourth film is now in development.
