Time for a bit of breaking news from the DCEU. Variety reporter Justin Kroll has taken to twitter to drop the news that the script for The Flash / Flashpoint has been turned in to Warner Bros. EW has just shared a first look poster for season 5 of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Judging by the window on the right hand side we’ve got confirmation that Coulson and co. will be going in to space! In the season 4 finale we saw the team frozen in place and kidnapped by shadowy villains only for the story to pick up some time later. This past Sunday finally saw the premier of Star Trek: Discovery. The much anticipated (and previously delayed) sixth live action series in the Star Trek franchise saw its first episode air of CBS whilst it’S second episode made the jump to online subscription platform CBS All Access. The series will continue its fifteen episode debut run via the subscription service in the US. International audiences are able to catch the series weekly via Netflix. Warner Bros. has just gone and surprised us all by dropped the first poster and a trailer tease for Tomb Raider! Taking clear inspiration from the most recent reboot entries to the gaming franchise this is a huge tease for fans. A few months ago we brought the news that Kingsman helmer Matthew Vaughn was in the frame to direct Man of Steel 2. Since then all has been quite whilst Warner Bros. builds up to the release of Justice League. With Superman still technically dead any developments are most likely being kept under wraps. During Grant Morrison’s time running New X-Men the character was killed by Xorn and has remained dead ever since.
