Earlier this year Marvel announced a new Vision miniseries would begin this November. The series was coming to us from the creative team of Chelsea Cain, Marc Mohan and Aud Koch.
But yesterday rumours began to build that Marvel had pulled the series from its release schedule. Whilst the company has yet to confirm the news, Cain took to social media to let fans know that Vision is no more.
Whilst she gave no reason for the cancellation she did confirm that four issues of the series were completed.
I’m incredibly proud of the 4 issues we’ve turned in so far. It’s been 2 years of work. And reflects tremendous effort by an incredibly talented team. It kills me that we won’t get to share them…Forgive me, Viv. https://t.co/wGj65AFDZv

In a subsequent tweet Cain appeared to take a swipe at Marvel for sanitising her announcement of the series cancellation.
.@Marvel asked me to keep this "clean and quiet" because apparently they've never met me. HI, GUYS, I'M THE ONE WHO'S THE PAIN IN THE ASS. REMEMBER ME NOW?

Cain is no stranger to a spot of Marvel controversy having received unwarranted harassment on social media back in 2016 for her Mockingbird series. The harassment came as the result of Cain’s call for more female-driven comics at Marvel.
