We got a nice surprise from Warner Bros. yesterday in the form of the first track to be taken from the Justice League soundtrack. After Hans Zimmer produced the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice soundtrack with Junkie XL it was decided that Junkie would take the lead with the League. When Joss Whedon stepped in to take over production the music duties shifted to the extremely talented Danny Elfman. Sony Pictures as taken to Twitter to announce that the Venom @venommovie film is now officially in production! Launching the new account we get our first look at lead actor Tom Hardy presumably on the set of the film. Whilst we wait for confirmation of the films cast there is heavy speculation that four-times Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams will be joining Hardy in some capacity. All signs point to Justice League being the shortest DC Films release to date. Whilst tickets for the film don’t go on sale until the end of the month cinema chains are beginning to post details on its release. Here in the UK Cineworld is still listing the film as 150mins in its placeholder page. Vue and Odeon have yet to list times. In the US AMC and Regal have both given the film a time of 121mins.
