News overnight from Manabyte (via ComicBookMovie) regarding Venom. The site is reporting a new rumour which suggests the villainous symbiote won’t have much screen time in his own movie.
Citing a plot synopsis which is doing the rounds in Hollywood it seems to fit with rumours we have been hearing. The breakdown suggests that more much of the movie the symbiote will take the form of dark veins seen on the body of the host.
Whilst the trademark anger and some of the powers will be visible the suit itself will be missing for much of the film. It is said the suit will manifest itself for the films climactic battle. That battle is said to last only a couple of minutes on screen.
The report seems to confirm the news there will be three symbiotes in the film: Venom; the villain and a third which kills its host early on.
Whilst this remains rumour it does point to a drastic deviation from the source material…
