Fans have been wondering when news on the fates of the DCTV slate would be announced. Well wait no longer as The CW has formally announced its first pickups for the 2018/19 TV season. Sad news for the Fox X-verse this morning as both X-Men: Dark Phoenix and New Mutants have move released dates. Dark Phoenix was initially due for release in November of this year. There has been concern amongst fans that we had still yet to see a teaser trailer and now we have some understanding as to why. The awesome guys and gals of TV Insider have brought us a first look at the voice cast for The Death of Superman. The film is the latest in DC Comics long line of animated, direct-to-video, movies. Fans will recall the storyline of Superman’s demise has previously been examined on film in 2007 film Superman: Doomsday. Though you may not realise it there’s a saga of behind-the-scenes gossip in regards to the first trailer for Aquaman. The film, due for release in December, wrapped shooting some time ago now. Director David Ayer has finally revealed what happened to Jared Leto’s Joker after this helicopter crashed in Suicide Squad. Fans will recall that shots featured in one of the trailers showed Leto with a partially burnt face wielding a grenade. It has long been rumoured that much of the storyline was cut from the third act.
